Leslie Harvey

Leslie J. Harvey. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Boswarlos, Newfoundland. Active 1980’s -.

Leslie Harvey made primitive painted carvings of animals, birds and people. He also made models of houses and art for his yard. He used ‘as found’ materials including driftwood. He is cited in Grattan, 1983.

Ned Hancock was a designer of hooked rug patterns for the Grenfell Mission in Labrador. He is cited in Lynch, 1980.*
