Orran Hiltz

Orran Hiltz. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Decoy carver. Indian Point, Nova Scotia. Active mid 20th century.

Orran Hiltz was a decoy carver. He also was known for his carvings of miniature water fowl; including Mergansers. He is cited in both the Ferguson and Field books.

Charlie Hilton. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Decoy maker. Painter. Trenton, Ontario. Active mid 20th century.

Charlie Hilton was a decoy maker. He also is known for his paintings of wildlife and landscapes.

Clement Hibbard

Clement Hibbard. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Lancaster, Ontario. Active mid 20th century.

Clement Hibbard made art for his yard using ‘as found’ materials including wood, metal and styrofoam. He was cited in the Canadian Centre for Folk Culture studies.

Rada Greg

Rada Greg. Painter. Toronto, Ontario. Active 1980’s- .

Rada Greg is a self-taught artist. She makes naive landscapes and streets scenes of Toronto. She is cited in Farr, 1982 and her work is illustrated in McKendry’s Companion. 1989.

Leslie Harvey

Leslie J. Harvey. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Boswarlos, Newfoundland. Active 1980’s -.

Leslie Harvey made primitive painted carvings of animals, birds and people. He also made models of houses and art for his yard. He used ‘as found’ materials including driftwood. He is cited in Grattan, 1983.
