Clyde Edwards was a decoy carver. His work included ducks, plovers and also seagulls.

Melbourne Doucette is a woodcarver and a maker of whirligigs. He is cited in the files of  the Canadian Centre for Folk Culture Studies.

Willieam Devine

William Devine. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Active mid 20th century.

William Devine was a naive artist. He made relief carvings of animals and fish as well as religious themes. He was the brother of Clayton Devine.

Eli Croft

Eli Croft. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Camperdown, Nova Scotia. Active early 20th century.

Eli Croft made naive carvings of people, birds and animals. He also made carved crooked knives and furniture occasionally using ‘as found’ materials. Eli Croft was cited in ‘From the Heart’ (1983).
