Mark Robichaud. Sculptor. Painter. Wood carver. Belliveau Cove, Nova Scotia. Active since the 1980’s.
Mark Robichaud’s work has always seemed to set the bar in the minds of his contemporaries. He turns tradition on it’s head and somehow re-creates it. He works in primary ‘as found’ colors, as well as materials, and he is always playing with them, and through them, the viewer. He is unpredictable to say the least. His work has been collected on three continents. He lives and works near Belliveau Cove on Nova Scotia’s French shore.
