John Furey. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Baie Verte, Newfoundland. Active 1970’s -.
John Furey made naive painted carvings of people as well as sculptures for his yard. He and his brother Conrad Furey (see article) collaborated on sculptures before Conrad moved to Hamilton, Ontario. John Furey is cited in Gratton’s book “Flight of Fancy” (1983).
