Charlie Atkinson. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia. Active mid 20th century.
Charlie Atkinson was a carver of birds and people and things for his yard. He made bird houses and models of buildings. He painted all of his works and was very fond of polka dots. He has been collected widely by museums and also private collectors. Several of his sculptures are in the Museum of Civilization, i Hull. (See the link below.)
