Normand Simard. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Baie-Saint-Paul, Les Eboulements, Quebec. Active late 20th century- .
Normand Simard makes sculptures using ‘as found’ materials. He has a studio/gallery at Les Eboulements where he works and displays. His subjects are people, ducks, and birds-wild and domestic. He also uses stone and ‘found’ driftwood to make other works of imagination including models of the houses found along that St. Lawrence shore. He signs his work in script.
