This is a large Relief Carving by J.P.Clement. Made in the 1930’s, it measures about 15 by 24 inches. It is a deep relief, carved in Pine, and painted in oil paints. It is in the artist’s original frame. The carving is from his early period and was made for a hunting lodge in Northern Quebec.
