Luce Levesque

Born: Active 2015 - .

Luce Levesque. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Kamouraska, Quebec. Active circa 2015 – .

Luce Levesque makes painted naive sculptures of people ‘at their lives’. Her carvings are full of humor and feeling. Luce Levesque works with ‘as found’ materials. She signs her work and often shows at exhibitions. At the Museum of Civilization at Quebec among others. She has appeared in Magazin’Art  (Fall 2018).

I am correcting the original entry with a wonderful symbol of ‘As Found’ work. The artist has taken old, well used, ‘as found’ material and created something entirely new. And in this case – ‘Wisdom’.
