Gaston Turcotte is a woodcarver in the flat plane carving tradition of St-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec. He carved figures of people, generally unpainted. Very occasionally a painted work by Gaston Turcotte can be found but they are rare. (One occasionally sees an over-paint.)
