Oliver Sonley. The mark on a well carved and painted sculpture of a woman; possibly ‘Snow White’ from the Disney movie made at that time. It is signed on the base: ‘Sonley’ with a chisel and is undated but was made about 1950′. Our information is that the artist was a policeman from London, Ontario who also made wood carvings. Very fine ones and well coloured.
