Raymond Bolduc. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Chambord, Quebec. Active mid 20th century.
Raymond Bolduc was an exceptional carver. He made relief carvings but he preferred carving in the round. He carved domestic and wild animals; sometimes in colour and more often simply varnished. He often titled his carvings and signed and dated them. He gave most of his work away; much of it to museums in Quebec including La Musee de laCulture Populaire at Trois Rivieres and La Musee de la Civilization in Quebec.
