Marius Jensen made carvings of farm scenes. They were always brightly coloured and multi-dimensional. His subjects were every aspect of farm life and the people who worked with them and lived on the farm. He often included children and sometimes made paintings of farm and forest scenes with animals, birds and other figures carved and applied to the painting. These can be quite spectacular. His work was always well painted and signed on the base; sometimes with the date.
