George De Pape. Sculptor. Woodcarver. Homby Island, British Columbia. Active mid 20th century.
George De Pape was a sculptor. He made naive and primitive sculptures and assemblies in ‘as found’ materials and colours including metal, stone, concrete, wood. Many of his works were for his yard. He was cited in Kobayashi (1985) and the Canadian Centre for Folklore Studies.
