Erskine Brown

Erskine Brown, Sculptor. Woodcarver. Thornbury, Ontario. Active 1961-1970’s..

Erskine Brown was a farmer in the Thornbury area. He made carvings of horse-drawn and oxen drawn farm vehicles as well as the animals on the farm. He also carved  birds and people. He was an accomplished artist and he painted his work. He is cited and collected by The Canadian Museum of Civilization.
