Arthur Macneill. Sculptor. Woodcarver. St. Peters, Prince Edward Island. Active mid-20th century.
Arthur MacNeill carved people at play and at their occupations including horse drawn farm equipment as well as wind machines and whirligigs. He worked with ‘as found’ materials and bright primary glossy paints. He has been widely collected privately and by museums. He usually signed in script on the base.
